About Louise
Louise is the Owner and Managing Director of Altitude Recruitment. Originally from London, UK, she moved to New Zealand 10 years ago in search of a better work/life balance and now lives in Kingsland, Auckland with her six-year-old daughter.
Before discovering her passion for recruitment, Louise spent eight years in the fast-paced fashion industry in London, followed by a move into advertising in Auckland. Now with over eight years of experience in legal recruitment in New Zealand, she has worked with a wide range of clients, from top-tier, mid-tier, and boutique firms to in-house opportunities. She has extensive experience placing New Zealand lawyers returning from overseas, and understands the unique challenges of relocating, having experienced the transition herself.
Since launching Altitude Recruitment in 2021, Louise has been honored with several awards, including the Sourcr Awards for Best Legal Recruiter and Best Legal Agency, and the NZ Lawyer Service Provider Award. These achievements reflect her dedication to providing exceptional service and building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
Louise takes the time to understand the unique needs, goals, and aspirations of her clients and candidates, ensuring a perfect fit that fosters success and longevity.
